The office of Sen. Steve Glazer reports hiring Daniel Weintraub as chief of staff. Weintraub, who starts Monday, had been editor in chief and project director of the California Health Report since 2009. He was a public affairs columnist for the Sacramento Bee for nine years, was a Capitol reporter for the Los Angeles Times and was Capitol Bureau Chief for the Orange County Register.
