Public affairs firm Edelman Sacramento reports having hired Joaquin McPeek as a vice president and Jordyn Anderson as senior account executive. McPeek was previously managing director of public affairs and communications at Ygrene Energy Fund, “the nation’s leader in clean energy finance.” Before that, he was press secretary for former Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson and a spokesman for Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser. Anderson formerly handled public relations for Downtown Sacramento Partnership and before that worked for 3fold Communications. McPeek and Anderson fill new roles and started their jobs in October.
