The happy couple

“He asked, and I said yes!! We’re getting married!!” tweeted Kristin Olsen last week, announcing her engagement to Matt Cate. The couple, she a partner at California Strategies and he the principal of Cate Consulting, were in Paris when he proposed. Olsen also posted a video of “Matt’s amazing proposal.” Olsen and Cate are obviously the main stars, while other proposal players include the Eiffel Tower, the Seine River, a white carpet strewn with white and pink rose petals, big block letters spelling out “MARRY ME” and a violinist playing romantic melodies. After knowing each other for the last decade, Olsen said “we randomly ran into each other last February at a restaurant and went on a first date about a month after that,” leading up to that amazing moment.
