Lucas Public Affairs has announced three additions to its staff and the promotions of Miroslava de la O to director of operations and Brooke Sperbeck to senior account executive. De la O joined the firm in 2014 as an office manager and executive assistant, and before that worked in human resources and accounting at S.T. Johnson Company, a manufacturer of industrial boilers. Sperbeck, who has been with the firm since 2014, was most recently an account coordinator. The firm also reports hiring Jordan Stout and Daisy Castellón as account coordinators and Natalie Haskell as administrative assistant. Stout has been an apprentice since January 2017, and before that assisted with writing, research, media, and special projects for the Executive Division of Public Affairs and Outreach for the CA Dept. of Social Services. Castellón, who started in July, most recently worked at Imprenta Communications Group.
