KEEPING UP

Downtown Sacramento Partnership reports that NEO Escape Rooms is now open at 1124 Second Street in Old Sacramento. Co-owners Gabriel Berzamina and Acme Lee were the winners of DSP’s Calling All Dreamers competition in 2018 with their idea for a Sacramento-themed escape room, which is an immersive experience in a race to solve a series of puzzles within 60 minutes. With allowance by Sacramento County public health officials, NEO Escape Rooms will be open by reservation only with safety measures in place including requiring face masks be worn at all times, booking exclusively for family/same household groups, and keeping the main entry locked to prevent walk-in traffic. NEO Escape Rooms is launching with a “Capitol Treasure” room concept that “plays into obscure facts and fiction surrounding the State Capitol building complete with drama, suspense, and creative license artfully weaved in.” More themed escape rooms are expected to be added in the future. The cost to participate in the family-friendly NEO Escape Rooms experience is $39 per person for groups of two to seven. The experience is recommended for adults and children ages 10 and older. Visit NEO’s website to reserve a spot. Contact: 916 603 8718 or support@neoescaperooms.com.
