Former Asm. Nicole Parra reports she has a new job that brings the Central Valley Democrat back to Sacramento. Parra started this week as manager of state government affairs for Tesoro Refining and Marketing. Parra served in the Assembly from 2002 to 2008 and most recently worked as an adjunct professor at CSU Bakersfield and as campaign manager on the successful Measure J, a $500 million bond for Kern Community College District.
