Wilson and White, compadres

Several members of former Governor Pete Wilson’s senior staff have announced their sincere desire to wish “the Marine, State Assemblyman, San Diego Mayor, United States Senator and two-term Republican Governor” a very happy 85th birthday today. Bob White, chairman of California Strategies, Marty Wilson with CalChamber and Jeff Randle and Mitch Zak with Randle Communications, continue to carry forth the lessons they learned working for Wilson and the camaraderie they developed. “Pete knows one speed, full speed ahead,” said White, Wilson’s former chief of staff. “His leadership is legendary because the focus was always on building a great team, joining them in the trenches and working side-by-side to overcome any challenge.” The group also reports that family and friends of Team Wilson are invited to a belated 85th birthday party with Wilson and former first lady Gayle Wilson in Sacramento scheduled for Friday October 5th.
