Ryan May

Friends and colleagues have delivered the sad news that the three-year-old son of James May of the Speaker’s Office of Member Services and Rebecca May, chief of the Professional Fiduciaries Bureau at the CA Dept. of Consumer Affairs, passed away Friday. Ryan Emilio May died in his sleep from “as-of-yet unknown reasons” while on a family vacation. He leaves behind not only his parents, but his eight-year-old brother, Evan. A memorial service in Ryan’s honor is to be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3159 Land Park Drive in Sacramento. A reception will follow at Cohousing Common House, 434 T St. “The family has requested that people do not wear black.” In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ryan’s name to the Sacramento Public Library Foundation, Central Library 828 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814.
