Politico California Playbook reporter David Siders has announced he’s transitioning to a new role within Politico as a national political correspondent. He will cover the 2018 midterms and 2020 presidential race from his home base of Los Angeles. Siders joined Politico in 2016 after working for the Sacramento Bee.
